Wee Willi Winkles is a legend in the Skateboarding world and we are very proud to show you our tribute to him and his iconic image. We have collaborated on these decks with Concrete Wave Magazine who asked us to draw up some designs to commemorate his induction into the Canadian Action Sports Hall Of Fame later this year.
Willi began skateboarding in the 60's using standard plywood decks with steel wheels on the bottom but found they kept breaking. He sat down with his father and developed a much stronger deck using 7 ply Maple and a lamination technique which we have used to produce these commemorative boards.
Made for display but the 2mm clear laminate will protect the board should you wish to take it out for a ride.
Each deck has pre-drilled truck bolts hole so you can attach your own wheels pr use the holes to hang the deck. The choice is yours!
